What is Hypertension?

Let’s discuss hypertension.

Hypertension is a condition in which your blood pressure (BP) is higher than the normal value of 130/80 mm Hg. It is usually called ‘High BP.’ A person with persistent hypertension is more likely to have a stroke and heart attack.
Almost always, there are no significant symptoms for this condition. The best way to check is to visit a doctor and check your BP.
